What prequalification does
A prequalification request helps our team understand the vehicle you want, your budget, income basics, and how to contact you. It is an early conversation—not a lender approval, final rate, or guaranteed payment.
What our first-step form leaves out
Korea Auto Group’s prequalification form does not request your Social Security number, driver-license number, or full birth date. If you decide to complete a formal credit application later, use only our protected secure application—not ordinary email or text.
How our completed-deal experience helps
Over years of helping customers complete vehicle purchases, our team has seen useful patterns in how a deal comes together. Without exposing anyone’s personal information, we can compare the structure of previously completed deals—such as vehicle price and value, amount financed, cash down or trade equity, APR range, loan term, and resulting monthly payment.
That experience helps us discuss realistic starting scenarios and identify vehicles or financing paths worth exploring. It does not mean two applicants will receive the same decision: participating lenders evaluate every current application under their own requirements.
The numbers work together
A lower amount financed or a larger down payment can reduce the monthly payment. A higher APR usually increases borrowing cost, while a longer term may lower the monthly payment but increase the total interest paid. Vehicle age, mileage, value, income, debts, credit history, and lender guidelines can also change the available result.
What happens next
Our Joliet team reviews your request, contacts you using your selected consent preferences, and explains the next available step. A participating lender makes every final credit decision and sets the actual terms.
