Information you choose to provide

When you contact Korea Auto Group, you may provide details such as your name, email address, phone number, vehicle interest, trade-in information, requested visit time, pickup address, accessibility needs, or the content of your message. A prequalification request may include your general location, housing payment, employment status, income range, vehicle budget, planned down payment, and consent record. It does not request your Social Security number, driver’s-license number, or birth date. A full credit application may also include your full birth date, Social Security number, driver’s-license information, address, housing payment, employment, income source, estimated monthly income, planned down payment, electronic signature, and consent record.

How information may be used

Information may be used to respond to your inquiry, check transportation availability, schedule an appointment, provide dealership services, communicate about a vehicle, and process the prequalification, credit, or trade-in request you initiate. Credit-application information may be reviewed by Korea Auto Group and participating financing providers for the application you authorize.

Safeguards and retention

Ride-assistance requests, prequalification requests, and credit applications are stored in a restricted dealership database rather than sent through ordinary email. Social Security numbers, birth dates, and driver’s-license numbers submitted through the full credit application are encrypted before database storage. Access is limited to authorized dealership personnel. Records are retained according to legal requirements and dealership policy and should be deleted securely when no longer required.

Credit applications

• Sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
• Your Social Security number, date of birth, and driver’s-license number are stored encrypted. Only Korea Auto Group staff who handle financing can open them.
• Shared with participating lenders or finance companies to get you financed, as you authorize in your credit application.
• Kept for 5 years, then deleted.

Text and telephone communications

If you provide a mobile number and consent to contact, Korea Auto Group may call or text about your request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

Sensitive information

Enter sensitive identity information only inside the secure full credit application. Never send a Social Security number, driver’s-license number, full birth date, bank information, or identity document through ordinary email, text, or a general contact form.
